Congrats to Heartland’s Mia Goldberg — Winner of the Brown and Caldwell Women in Leadership Scholarship!
The Women in Leadership Scholarship supports students interested in pursuing a career in the environmental profession with a $5,000 award. This year’s honoree is Mia Goldberg, an undergraduate at Tufts University where she is studying chemical engineering. Mia’s undergraduate experience includes an internship with Heartland Water Technology that deepened her interest in biosolids, the wastewater industry, and Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Mia will be continuing her education at Tufts University in the fall to pursue her master’s degree in chemical engineering.
