Evaluation of PFAS Through Leachate Evaporation
As part of Tuesday’s PFAS Management Track from 10:30-12 PM PST, Senior Process Engineer Travis Smith, PE, will present findings from a recent study about the behavior of PFAS through the Heartland Concentrator™ and the effectiveness of evaporation as a technology for PFAS Separation. Based on a recent whitepaper, Travis will present on the Concentrator’s highly effective ability to concentrate PFAS in the raw feed into liquid residuals without significant losses to the vapor stream. Operators can dramatically reduce the volume of leachate, take trucks off the road and lock-in disposal certainty, while simultaneously disposing of PFAS.
Ionic Gasification: Biosolids Management & PFAS Destruction
Senior Product Marketing Manager Mike Ditton will present a case study outlining testing for ionic gasification regarding biosolids management and PFAS destruction. The poster presentation will highlight the development of HelioStorm™ ionic gasification technology and several studies validating its application for biosolids management and providing Assured PFAS Destruction™. Poster sessions will be held Monday 12-2 PM PST & 5:15-6:45 PM PST, and Tuesday 12-1:30 PM PST & 5-6:30 PM PST.
